<p>What are the chances to get into Vandy with a low SAT (1160 on 1600 scale)? I have a 3.8 with tough classes, varsity sports and great E.C.'s including Eagle scout and Congressional Page. Is it even worth the application fee? I doubt it but my father is pushing it because he went there. Thanks.</p>

However, there may be other factors in your application that can help you, such as your essay and your extracurricular activities. So, try to write an amazing essay, and if possible, try to take a practice SAT and take the real SAT again.</p>
