I know emory people were told decisions would come at 8 am yet they were available at 12 am.

Could this be the case for duke? Did this happen in past years or for ED?

I’m fairly certain they’ll be up when Duke said so. I believe Emory’s said the results would be up BY 8 AM, not AT. Duke said they would be posted AT 6PM (EST right?), not by.

For ED Duke posted at like 5:50-5:55, but not too far in advance. So basically, five minutes hardly makes a difference and it’s probably just the difference between my clock and the one in Durham.

Yeah, in years past, Duke has been pretty punctual about their times. So you won’t get your decision at like 3pm or 10am or something like that. If that’s what you are thinking/hoping for.

6pm will be the time because that will be the earliest possible time to allow every adm folks safely leave campus, just before an influx of phone calls from anxious applicants who could not access the system as well as from mad parents whose kids are “unjustly” treated…there’ll however be a poor technical support guy facing all these alone after 6.
