Hello, I'm new here, you've probably all heard these questions a million times but i can't seem to find the answers:

What is the early decision response date? I've heard Dec 15, Dec 9th, etc. I'm counting down the days...

They say to wait till the 11th to call about missing materials, but I'm freaking out. I have pin code, etc, but my supplement and everything isn't showing up and I'm afraid they haven't sent my app to the college I'm applying to-- and the materials I sent them will be lost. (!!!)

Anyone else applying to Architecture? Lots like it's an engineering boat here.

ok. help me out.
by the way, early people, have you even started your regular apps? i'm slacking and not even looking at them.

Ed response last year was 5:00:00 PM on December 10th.

They have so many applications streaming in it doesn't mean a thing if some of your materials haven't been recorded yet. This happened last year too and the current student posters told us the same thing. Relax and wait until the 11th, they will not penalize you even if something got lost or even !!!you forgot!!! to send something.

of course other people applied to architecture, sorry :( haha. no in truth CC is not a good representation of the applicant pool, even by balance of applicants. you'll notice most of the people who post here frequently are ones who get in. that's because most of the posters are in the top portion of the applicant pool.

Cars are allowed for everyone. The parking permit is exorbitantly expensive: $622.92 including tax. a 1 day parking permit is $6 per day...you also forfeit a $200 value free bus pass if you get a parking permit. That means it in effect costs $822.92.

what's the bus pass-- where does it get you? when i visited cornell, i remember sitting on a grey hound for 5 hours and it was hell. but then again, i'm not sure driving that far would be that much better...

Im not at cornell, but if I attained a bus pass from a school, I would assume that its a way to get around CAMPUS, not a way to travel from your home bus station to cornell and/or back. Therefore, I'm again assuming you wont be on the bus for a long time.

though i definetly shouldn't be worrying, probably i should be worrying about my reg decision apps. but i suppose it's worthwhile to day dream :-)

i dont know perhaps you will be able to handle the suspense for possibly an extra 24 hours.

Bus pass gives you free (after it's paid for, which will be taken care of by cornell in this case) access to any of the tcat routes which cover the whole ithaca area: Cornell Campus, Pyramid Mall, Commons/Downtown Ithaca, and Neighboring towns.

You will want to go to NYC like...never. Maybe on a rare occasion, in which case it's better to road trip with a friend with a car. I haven't gone yet. The bus to NYC is not fun...takes forever.

considering that there maybe so many applicants to review, i feel the notifications for decisions might be late this year, like probably fall around the regular date dec. 15th as oppose to the dec. 10th last year.

hey do you know if each college indivudally sends results or its kind of a big all-at-the-same-time thing? because i'm applying to AAP and i figure they have way smaller of an applicant pool than the other colleges... i'm definetly getting anxious waiting
