Various Q's

I'm a junior in High school and my Practice SAT's score is 1350 and my grade point average is 2.5. I'm looking to major in MT and wanting suggestions for schools and their audition processes. My stronger qualities are singing and acting. I'm not that good of a dancer, but I have a year, suggestions for that as well. I'm looking at CCM,BoCo,Pace,Elon,UMich, and Cmellon. I would greatly appreciate any info you can give me

Hi - I would recommend you take advantage of previous threads in this section for general information, and then also look at various schools’ specific websites for additional information on admission requirements.

Some threads to look at:

School-specific information: you mentioned the University of Michigan above. So, as an example, at their website:

[UM School of Music, Theatre & Dance - Prospective Students](http://www.music.umich.edu/prospective_students/admissions/ug/app_proc/acad_prep.htm)

For this school, you must meet minimum GPA/test score requirements before an audition/interview will be granted. You can see that they expect applicants to have a GPA of 3.0 or better (calculated using unweighted grades in all subjects taken from 9th-11th grade.) For test scores, you must submit the ACT with writing or the SAT with writing.
