Varsity Sports and Extracurriculars

Hey guys,
I’m currently a sophomore in high school. I played JV volleyball and JV lacrosse freshman year, and won’t be playing any sports this season. However, I’m highly interested in playing Tennis next year, and since I have played before on a outside league, I’m positive that I will be on varsity for the next two years of my high school career. Will the change in sports negatively affect the notion of extra curricular in college admissions or does it matter because I have played 2 JV sports already? Before college apps, I will have 2 JV sports for freshman year, 1 Varsity for junior year, and 1 Varsity sports for senior year.
I have a 3.9 GPA and took 2 honors freshman year out of 3 I could take and currently taking 1 AP and 2 honors out of 3 I can take. Next year, I will be taking 2-3 AP and 1 honors.
For other extracurricular, by the end of senior year, I would have been president for my own club for 3 years, president of Clay Club for 2 years, VP of ASU for 1 year, and president of ASU for 1 year.

How will this look during college admissions?

Thanks guys:)

The only bad thing I can think of is it might show a lack of commitment and consistency. The extent to which it will hurt you application? I’m guessing not much. College admissions officers know that high school students are bound to be growing and taking on new interests while shedding old interests. What’s important is that you are doing extracurriculars that you’re excited and passionate about because that’s what will come through in your application, and that’s what will help admissions officers see who you are. As for JV versus Varsity, it probably doesn’t matter much unless you’re looking to be recruited for a sport.

Not a problem at all.
