Vassar is your safety…you’re an international with high SATS (which very few internationals have)…and the most important thing…you aren’t asking for financial aid…so you’re technically in :D

@omega007:

^Keep this in mind.

What makes you so sure that my high SAT will be more importantly than my (seemingly) dismal GPA? I’m trying to be confrontational; I just want to understand my chances more clearly.

The number on your GPA doesn’t matter if you’re one of the top students of your class.
I’ve seen many students on CC get into Ivies with a similar condition to you but they were in top 10% or top 5% of their graduating class. Colleges understand that each high school’s methodology of curricula and course rigor is different from the other so use the class rank, SAT scores and teacher recommendations to find whether your GPA is competitive or not. Your standardized test scores show that your GPA is competitive and also determines that you’re ready for college study. Your AP scores also prove that your low GPA is in par with college preparatory work. I think you’re fine.

Also, the most important think for internationals (in my belief) is the SAT because very very few internationals have high SAT like you and the adcoms would be very impressed with you being a non-native speaker with a high SAT score.
