Vassar Acceptance Update?

<p>I checked recently the "Vassar Checklist" that had told us our statuses and it had changed--I was "Deferred" a month ago; i checked it last week and it had been changed to "Denied".</p>

<p>What is strange is that after about one hour it had been changed to the message:
"At this late stage in the application process, the online checklist for Early Decision II applicants to Vassar has been closed. Application decisions were posted on January 28th."</p>

<p>The updated(?) status was only up for maybe a day or so. Did anyone else see this? I just find it strange but no one has mentioned this. Can we assume the short lived update is accurate? Did anyone else notice this?</p>

<p>That is very strange. I would contact the admissions office to inquire. If you applied EDI and were deferred, you should now be within the regular decision applicant pool and hence your decision shouldn’t be available until April 1. This sounds like a system error and I would call right away.</p>
