Vassar was my top choice school when I was a junior and now I feel rather uncertain about this choice. The school just seems so expensive and my parents seem unwilling to pay for it since I probably wont get any aid and they don't think it has a good rep. Does anyone know what it takes to get around 20,000 in aid. (my father makes 120,000/year and I dont have any siblings so is it still possible for me to get aid)?
btw, how is vassar's rep? my parents are urging me to attend LSE after I got in because of its rep but I much prefer Vassar because I actually like the school.

Vassar has an excellent rep, i dont know what you're talking about. are you referring to the london school of economics? if so, then idk about Vassar's rep or popularity in the uk, but here in the US it is very well known everywhere, and recognized as being very prestigious. for example, all of my family in washington state knew about it and were very impressed.

i realize that vassar has an excellent rep but i guess lacs are usually a bit less well known than big research universities. i am an american but my parents are urging me to attend the london school of economics next year because i guess they think the school is well known in the US or something.....i guess its just that i need to get around 20000 in aid per year
