plan to take ACT and SATIIs this spring and summer.

I thought i did rediculously well on the SAT when i took it. Im awaiting my score report, and just because im anal, i may want it to be rescored. i always **** up scan-tron tests.

I am checking out Reed, Pomona and Pitzer this spring, and plan to check out Vassar, Hamilton, Sarah Lawrence, and Amherst this summer. Do i have a chance at Reed, Vassar, Pomona, Hamilton or Amherst, even with my test scores? SL and Pitzer are my safties.

idk about the schools your applying to, but they wont hold it against you because your school didnt offer AP's.

Reed's SAT 25th %ile is 1960, yours is 1890 (consider retaking), making Reed a bit of a reach but still doable. Selective schools just want to see courses at the high end of the rigor your HS offers. Your 3.9 UW is excellent, more important than SATs. Essay and interview are important at Reed. I don't see SL as a safety; it's more of a match. I see Amherst as a reach.

Definitely try to retake the SAT if you can. I'm looking at similar schools to those that you've listed, and I've found that at most LACs, the average SAT score for each section hovers around 700. But remember, SAT scores are only one aspect of the bigger picture. If you have an otherwise stellar app, you will still have a good chance.
