My daughter recieved the email as well, and although I told her close of business on Monday means @5:00pm EST, she vowed to wake up at midnight on Monday “just to check”. I have a feeling the crazy is going to be amped way up at our house this weekend. Really feel for these kids going through this meat grinder. Best of luck to everyone.
With good reason, the results are released after the admission office is closed (5PM) and the phones go to voicemail.
Good luck to everyone!
^^^^That makes so much sense!
I applied ED I too; Monday can’t come any sooner!
What are RD chances for a male from the mid west with a 2300 SAT, 4.0 GPA, lots of leadership/social justice ECs?
I was rejected from my ED school today, and obviously I’m disappointed about that, but Vassar was pretty close behind it and I’m really excited to have it as a possibility now. Good luck to all the ED 1 people!
24 hours!! Anyone else anxious as I am? @-)
@SirSly I literally can’t think about anything else!! So anxious
@SirSly The closer it gets the more anxious I feel! I just wanna know already!!! :-S
Less than two hours now!!! Good luck everyone!
Super anxious, I can’t even focus on HW right now! Hopefully everything works out :!!
I just got accepted!!! I’m so excited I can barely breathe!
I GOT IN TOO!!! YASSS
I GOT IN!!! AHHH
I got deferred… What are the chances of actually getting in come March?
International student here – I GOT IN!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!
Denied good luck to everyone. I really don’t know why, I sent in both a your space and a musical submission. My grades and scores were above average and I am president of 2 clubs and an active member of many things in my school community. I put so much into this admission. I have backup schools but I’m not in love with them like Vassar.
@preilly09 Aw No worries, I’m sure you’ll get into your other schools. I have faith you’ll end up where you destined to be!
I am in!!! the world works in crazy ways sometimes. anyone else here from Colorado?
@preilly09 I understand how you feel, at least from a parent’s perspective. My daughter was in love with the school and was denied today, too. Full IB diploma student, 103.5 weighted average, everything else pretty good too but SATs a little low. But she visited twice, sat in on a class, met with the director of her likely major, had an alumni interview, and made a creative and enjoyable your space video that took days to complete. She, too, feels like she put so much effort and love into this, and was pretty crushed. It’ll take her a few days to get over it.
I’m sure she, you, and anyone else whose dream school rejects them winds up elsewhere and feels that it is the exactly right place for them. Good luck!
Congrats to those who were accepted!
