Since ED1 decisions will come out soon, I thought it would be good to start this thread so people can post any questions they have.
Also, does anyone know if Vassar lets freshman choose who they can room with?
I have no idea about rooms 
But do you know the exact time decisions will be out? like what time is 'the close of business" in the US?
I believe it is 5pm eastern and 2pm western time
I want to ask a question about the quarter report. Vassar sent a email to my school about the quarter report, and my school submitted it to them before Dec.1. However, I don’t know if the school actually receives the report.
By the way, I am an international student whose school does not offer quarter report, so my school just handed in mid term grade. It’s that OK?
That should be fine. I believe they just want the most recent grades that you have but I could be wrong
@tenniscommit24 My friend applied ED, but she did not receive the email about quarter report, and she has not sent that report to Vassar yet. Now the checklist was closed, but Vassar did not remind her about the report. Her SAT is higher than mine. Does that mean Vassar thinks my SAT is too low?
@WeiWei Don’t worry about the quarter report, even my school doesn’t have it (we also have mid years) and NO ONE (even the ones with 2300’s) got a reminder for it from any university. Neither has any one ever gotten one since our counselor makes our examination system clear to the admissions committee. Your case could be an oddball case where the school didn’t inform them about your different system beforehand. Should be fine now.
@tenniscommit24 - Yes, you can request a specific roommate. After acceptance the hook you up with a Facebook site for admitted students where you can get to know some of them, and then you can try to room with a specific one if you want.
@tenniscommit24 Is quarter report a requirement or a optional material? I see in the checklist page it says that the report is a requirement…anyway, did you upload your quarter report?
Decisions are available at “close of business” on Thursday. Probably 4:30 or 5:00 eastern. Good luck!

Beside submitting the css profile by Nov. 15, the tax and w-2 forms were also due Nov. 15 for ED 1?
@noundaries yeah, they were. I submitted mine. Vassar even wrote about it on their website.
Okay, I submitted the profile just not the documents. I’ll do that today.
usually on the profile website they list additional documents required, but Vassar didn’t list any except on their website
