The 685 spots is for the class size. They didn’t accept 685/8600; they usually accept around 1800-2000 students.

4.5/5 W GPA and 1530 sat, top 5% of my class, good essays and really good LORs…
I did visit and tried to interview after my visit, but they were not able to find an available alum

this was one of my top choices but it’s okay ! congrats and good luck to everyone who got in, Vassar admissions seem to have been super competitive this year
