You already know most of the answer. Your grades are good enough and your scores need to be better.

What you might not realize is that you’ll have to present your ECs in a more focused manner. Stuff like NHS and Math Club sound really great for a school where the top SAT score is what you have now. For VC, you’ll want to play up stuff like this:

-A World of Difference (Council/Trainer)
-HOBY (Community Service Liaison/Delegate/Alumni)
-Feed My Starving Children (Volunteer)
-Suicide Hotline (Volunteer)

They go together as a set. You HELP people. That’s your THING. Think of yourself that way and present yourself that way from now on.

Not even close (even with your hook) with those SATs. You’re 300 points away from being competitive. Consider some test-optional schools.

Thank you @WasatchWriter I’ve never really viewed it that way. I’d have to think about how I would want to incorporate that into pursuing economics
