Vassar College, trinity College or Binghamton???

Hello everyone!

I have recently heard back from all my colleges and I was wondering if I could hear your opinion on a choice that I have to make. I have displayed a strong interest and was admitted to Trinity College (Hartford), Vassar College and Binghamton, but I can't decide which one to attend. I have selected to major in political science and all three offer me pretty good financial packages. If anyone out there would like to give me some suggestions for which school would be best for me, please let me know. Thank you for your time. :)

bump. Anyone willing to give me an opinion???

I’d pick Vassar. =)

There are a lot more poly sci majors at Trinity than there are at Vassar. But of course, Vassar’s a great place as well.

Trinity is urban and preppy. It would be the quintessential LAC were it not for its location, but the campus is beautiful. Vassar is quite a bit more artsy. Campus is nice, pretty small (except for the golf course) and compact. Binghamton is a well-respected state school, and most of the attendees will be from NY State. Binghamton will probably have a much greater course selection, but then again, the classes will be much larger as well.

I’d pick Vassar as well. Trinity would be my second choice. I believe LACs offer the best form of undergrad educ.

I agree with heyalb’s assesement that Trinity is more preppy and Vassar more artsy.
