I am thinking about making a video for the yourspace supplement for Vassar. If I do this, will I have to send a copy of it on a cd...or can I just post it on youtube and have a link to the video on a word document?

When I visited, the person who gave info at the info session said that someone did that once, she was a little apprehensive (like what is he sending me a link to), but she clicked on it and it was to a youtube video. He got in.

P.S. The video was his friends shaving his head.

ok thanks…yeah I guess it would be a little weird to send a link. But, if I don’t finish my video in time to send it in I guess I’ll have to do that.

Actually I meant you could probably do that, no harm. :)

I work in the admissions office, and I’m going to recommend a YouTube link. It’s just easier.

What if I had nothing to put in this section? How will that hurt my application as a whole?

My son did not put anything in and he got in. The most important things are your SAT/ACT scores, he rigor of your high school courses(with at least A- grades), your essay and your EC’s. I believe it is also somewhat of an advantage if you are a guy.
