Am I seriously the only one who got their letter today? That’s crazy! Jeez, I hope it wasn’t a mistake or something, can you imagine?! I’d die, haha. I’m so surprised you guys in NJ and MA haven’t received your letters yet. Good luck though, I’m hoping for this forum to have a 100% Acceptance rate. :)

senior - was it a big or small envelope?

matt - my parents are trying to get me to help them make latkes and kugel. all i want to do is curl up on the couch with hot chocolate and fantasize about vassar. this wait is KILLING me!!!

Yep no East Coast mail here–but I did just get into Bard! :D

Amanda (the lucky accepted one among us) told me via facebook it was an envelope the same size as the ones they send the guidebooks in, so I suppose 8 1/2 by 11 and VERY thin. She said there were only two sheets of paper in it.

Thank you so much for that information!!! It is super helpful to know not to be looking for the thick envelope…

@HH4V - It’s kind of sad that we’re skivving off our holidays to wait in agaony, but once we get out acceptance letters, we’ll be celebrating the holidays like no other. I’m sure of it. [:

@HadleyPillar - Congrats on Bard! I was going to apply but they didn’t have the major I wanted, ahah.

I’m out on Long Island and I’ve got nothing. The post office just closed. I guess I know what I’ll be doing bright and early on Monday morning.

Got my letter today… deferred >.<
I hate waiting.

@1092 - It’s okay! There’s light at the end of the tunnel.

1092 - i think you’ll find a great school that will be best for you whether it is vassar or not. keep your hopes high!! :)

i just literally grabbed the mail out of the mailman’s (woman’s) hands, but the letter didn’t come. matt, you and i are out of luck for today. we’ll talk monday. TWO DAYS!! WOOO!!

Ah damn. MONDAYYY!

I live about an hour an a half from Poughkeepsie and I got nothing today. Why is there no post on Sundays? And I have rehearsal on Monday and I won’t get home until six-thirty! ARGH!

I am not a patient person.

RG, I feel your pain. I’m at school until at least 9pm. I’m trying to see if I can run home as soon as school gets out and just be 20 minutes late for newspaper layout.

I’m terrified for Monday. I want it to come, but I’m also really enjoying this whole ignorance-is-bliss thing.

The postal carrier came by today. Nothing. I got “Apply now!” post cards from TCU, Trinity, and George Washington. Not the colleges I wanted to hear from, to be quite honest.

I haven’t waited this impatiently on a letter since Hogwarts.

Tanabelle-we are totally on the same page! I feel the same exact way…

My lunch period ends right before the mail comes on monday so idt I can go home for lunch to the mail…and I was going to stay after for ap econ help…ugh!

No idea how I’m gonna sit through a six hour school day. UGH.

On Monday, I’ll have AP Physics, AP Comp/Lit., Musical Theatre, and Theatre to sit through and agonize. West Side Story rehearsal will be a breeze though. But I could end up getting home as late as six so this leaves me with 53 hours to go.
