Haha, the formatting jacked up. I just copy-pasted directly from iTunes. :P

SO SCARED. CANNOT FOCUS ON PHYSICS. I’m doubting I’ll even manage to fall asleep.

I love hey soul sister! and mraz…

I don’t think making a Vassar playlist is unhealthy. I think that it probably took your mind off of the fact that you’re waiting for a letter.

My laptop died on Friday and all of my music has gone with it. I’m hoping it’s just a hardware problem so that I don’t lose all of my stuff.

Yeah, it did take my mind of things. I also organized my closet and it helped. So I was productive and successful.

Oh no! That sucks, I’m sorry. What kind of laptop do you have?

Ahhh I’m so sorry that happened to me last year! I had a dell and I regained around half of my songs. Losing music = Losing a bit of myself. I’m sorry that sounded far too overdramatic. But Corinne Bailey Rae The Shins and Vampire Weekend are all… just yes :stuck_out_tongue: Wow… I am never going to get my Japanese homework done while waiting for this letter.

You have Japanese class? That’s siiiiiiiiiick :)

It’s a fujitsu. My school requires every student to have one and they picked the model. It’s a piece of crap, and it only lasted this long because I took care of it and my brother’s a computer genius. At heart I’m a mac lover.

Really I’m only sad because I haven’t backed up music recently, so if I can’t fix it I’ve lost a lot. Also my calculus notes were on there, but I’m not too sure that I care about that. Math = doom.

I am so with you there. calculus… death.

lol thanks tanabelle, we have literally 2 languages to choose from… it’s an interesting school…

rg2010 - vassar only has a mac store, so you’d better get one before you leave for vassar!! haha

I know it only has a mac store! Yay!

My school doesn’t have Japanese, but a friend of mine is trying to teach himself. He can actually read pretty well, but he can’t say anything.

Awh, I have Windows 7 now, but I made a deal with my mom that if I get into Vassar, she’ll buy me a macbook. Obviously, a lot is riding on this decision tomorrow.

lol tanabelle.

rg2010, he can read? that’s amazing, the first two alphabets are easy enough but it’s taking me forever to learn the third one. your friend makes me jealous, period. :P

Just wanted to stop in and say Good Luck to all of you, again! I can’t wait to meet all of you in August, and I will because you are all wonderful, smart, awesome people who WILL be accepted! :)

Maybe I should say that he can understand the vocabulary, but since he hasn’t taken a class, he doesn’t know the grammar. He’s a genius, though, and he’s memorized this japanese dictionary that he carries around with him.

“Losing music = Losing a bit of myself.” haha I agree with this, actually. I plugged in my iPod to a computer in Russia, it synced, and deleted everything I had =( (very little of my music was on my iTunes at home, I had gotten a new computer)

And unlike a lot of you, I don’t listen to Indie music =O I don’t listen to “mainstream” though, 99% of my music is foreign. The other 1% is U2 and Keane(who I’m listening to as I type this) =P

I wish my school had Japanese =( I’m planning on taking it at Vassar(If I get…I’ll find out tomorrow) and continuing Chinese(and maybe French and Russian? I’m fluent in both already).

Keane is, well, musical deliciousness. There’s three alphabets in Japanese!? Seriously? And to think, when I was learning my ABC’s, I had plenty of issues with just one.

My school offers Spanish, French, and Japanese. We used to offer German but no one would take it.

And thanks again, Amanda!
