What do you guys think my chances are for the following schools?

Vassar: ED Round 2
Hamilton: RD
NYU: RD
GW: RD
Notre Dame: RD

Already been Deferred from ED round 1 at Amherst, and accepted into Rutgers.

anyone? please?

Bump, sry, but come on!

I would be surprised if you get rejected from any of those schools. Vassar might be a 50/50, but the rest are pretty likely.

You have a good chance at Vassar. They probably do not have a lot of Indian males applying. Your ACT is in the range.

Agree with above. Honors courses + high SATs + Indian male = accept for ED2 at Vassar, but 50/50 by regular decision time since NJ is one of top 5 states and they may want other states by then. All others good for RD.

To me, Amherst seemed preppy, while Vassar students were diversified in terms of clothes, etc. If you really liked Amherst, apply RD to others. If not, you will find Vassar to be more like NJ in terms of student attitudes (down to earth) while Amherst more like Boston corridor. Yes, I'm stereotyping (SP?) but that was my impression upon visiting.

What do you guys think of My EC's, are they enough? Or will they seriously hurt my chances, or my pretty mediocre GPA/Rank

anyone else? please?

you got a 770 on the SAT US History? come on, i got the same score and i didnt even take US History as a course.

alright, ill be serious. i would say you have a good shot at Vassar because you applied ED 2. i think its like 75% chance (more if your essays were great, less if they weren't). for the rest of them, i would be shocked if you didn't get in. my recommendation to you would be to apply to another school like Vassar in case you don't get in. maybe Middlebury?

bump. (always wanted to do this...)

come on people, please, some more opinions???

ugh.... (Bump)

argh!... Bump!

Come on! Anyone?

Just about Vassar, I'd say that you're in.....Vassar needs more male students, and you have a good SAT score. What more could they want? :)

Super Bump!

Bump*, please help?

I think you have a good shot at Vassar, especially as a male.
The others seem like matches as well, excluding Notre Dame which I know nothing about.

Bumpity Bump.
