I'm really torn about how to apply to Vassar. I love the school and I would be thrilled to go there, but I just can't get past that obligation factor. I passed up on ED1 because I'm waiting on a few other decisions (Notre Dame, Michigan, and some safeties with big scholarship opportunities). I fall right at to slightly above the average accepted scores they post online. Their class profile has a mean 3.7 GPA and a 31.3 composite ACT. I'm at a 3.9 and 31, so I just want to know if applying ED as opposed to RD is going to make THAT much of a difference.

Also, both ED2 and RD deadlines are January 1st

Well I’m torn in that same way about Vandy… Wait till you hear back from the schools you applied to early and then make a decision. Also, take into consideration whether EDII actually provides a significant increase in chance of acceptance like EDI or it’s just binding but the chance of getting in with EDII is the same as RD. Good luck!

Nobody out here knows how much difference it makes. :(
