I'm applying to Vassar RD. I have everything required in, but there's a YourSpace optional entry, where I can send in literally anything. I didn't leave myself enough time to do it, but do you think I should work on it and mail it out tomorrow? I was planning on creating a journal/photo album/portfolio type of thing about my working revamping the school newspaper (which I ended up as Editor in Chief of). Do you think I should send it out late on the third, or just let it go?

I was accepted ED and a bunch of people who were didn't even do the YourSpace, so no matter what do not be concerned if you don't send it in, because it really has no bearing on your application, I think it's just to amuse the adcoms :p That being said, it wouldn't hurt to send it in, if it will be something significant.

I'm sending mine out late on the third too. It's optional, so the worst that they can do is not consider it. Vassar seems pretty laid-back to me, so I think they would look at it. Colleges (including Vassar) take required items late if they're missing, so they should take the YourSpace submission a little late too.
