Im planning to major in economics. colby is giving me more aid but i dont know.. Im getting a better overall feeling from vassar...comments, anyone?

Hi. I just visited Vassar a few days ago. The campus is beautiful and everyone I met was so friendly. The students are all very happy at Vassar (at least the ppl I met). I went to see a student directed show in the theater the first night there, and all the seats were taken. You mentioned that you're interested in theater, and Vassar definitely has a better department than Colby in this field. Vassar also built a new center exclusively for drama and film.

8% of Vassar students are international students. I'm a foreign student, and personally I felt welcomed by the Vassar community, including the students and faculties. I don't know how strong the econ department is, but I did talk to a professor there at the Open House. I think the program is pretty strong, and it prepares you well for grad school and/or careers in the business field. It seems that there are a lot of opportunities for internships, and some students go to NYC to work on fridays.

I hope you'll decide on Vassar in the end, although it looks like you're leaning toward Vassar already :)
