Reading into the email carefully, you can see that they say “decisions will be finalized this week”
So, does it mean that there are still some applicants whose decisions are yet to be finalized ?

Many have said 5pm as that is usually considered the “close of business”

One of my last decisions (only a few Ivies afterward). Cannot wait to finish this waiting process and start choosing a school!

YESSS, HOLY MOLLY. Colleges, I get that you all want to play hard to get. It’s a tough year for you guys as well as all of us 2021 applicants, just like how a relationship is full of bumps and detours. In the end, I will insert half of my heart in the form of my enrollment deposit to a college that has given me its half these past months 
. (Spoiler Alert: I have no first hand experience of this)
I don’t wanna take things too personally, but I can’t help it, OMG. When the application season(we applied and we get all our decisions) ends, we can finally take a look at the schools who give us all of them. We will choose the one that we will give all of us to, and HAPPINESS AWAITS

Today’s the day (hopefully)! Whatever happens just know I am infinitely proud of all of you and please don’t let this determine your value. It’s been a tough year, so after all decisions come out, please, for the sake of your mental health, don’t look at this website for like a week. lol

Good luck today, everyone! This is my daughter’s last decision. We’ll be glad to have this done today as well. By the way, some of the administrative offices at Vassar list 5 p.m. as their closing time. I didn’t see any hours for admissions.

I’m sure all of you are anxiously anticipating the results as I am right now. I love this school, and I’m sure that you guys do too. We have to remember though, that that’s all it is. It’s a school. We’ve all (I hope) applied to other places. This isn’t the end for us. No matter what happens today keep your heads up. There were so many qualified people that applied this year and just because you don’t get in doesn’t mean that you weren’t good enough. I wish you all the best of luck and hope to see you at Vassar next year. (fingers crossed!! 
) You’re all awesome capable people and no matter where you end up I know that you’re going to do amazing things.
