can someone elaborate a bit on the differences between these schools? the websites for all of them seem to emphasize a focus on 'interdisciplinary' learning but is that just a buzz word for all colleges?

well vassar is better than scripps when looking at them by them selves except scripps has the other claremont colleges to aid it, but in general vassar is much better. Cmu is a university and is hard to compare to vassar, also i dont know much about cmu…but you posted this on the vassar forum so i assume you are learning towards vassar…so go with that
