VCCS Transfer Question: Should I get my hopes up?

I am no longer covered under the gaa because of two D’s and even an F I received in dual enrollment classes. This is not a reflection of my academic ability.

I know after hearing that many people would say not to bother but I was able to pick myself back up again. After graduating, I took a gap year where I took EMS classes at the fire dept. in the fall and EMS classes at a VCCS in the spring to advance my certification and what skills I can bring to my community as a volunteer AEMT.

I returned and completed two summer semesters (All A’s,) and three regular full-time semesters (All A’s in Two, Almost All A’s in one semester,) my CC graduation requirements, the UVA foreign language requirements, I took Advanced composition (because I took college comp DE,) and some of my intro premed requirements (I did not want to take upper levels like Organic Chem at CC because I hear med schools don’t like that.) I also completed Principles of Macrecon, and Micrecon to make entering UVA as a third year with the intention of declaring an econ major easier.

I have put myself through a much more rigorous curriculum on par with what UVA would require because I obviously do have my heart set on it, but please be realistic taking into account my bad year in dual enrollment. Thank you.

I’m sorry I didn’t see until now that this belongs in the chances section. I can’t find a way to delete the post.
