I am from VA.

Besides getting email, have you received any packet in the mail?
(How did you receive the notification- by email or by mail)

also, did you all get notification from the honors college (not MCV) itself?

There are 60 people being interviewed.
Out of those, how many are accepted? Do we have a high chance after getting the interview offer?

by email from VCU honors email alias.

Formal invitation/attachment from MCV

After interview, many outstanding candidates will have multiple offers
by other schools.

I'm from out of state.

2100 sat
4.7 gpa
usual clubs/some leadership
285 hours in hospital

rejected and bloowwwn

Based off of last years statistics, more than half of the 60 that will be interviewed will be offered seats (I think somewhere around 35 ppl will get accepted). I'm OOS but I only got two emails- one for time of the interview and another just telling me i got an interview.

The book "med school from hs" says we should bring resume, info, etc to the interview.
However, I talked to Dr Chandler. She says we do not need to bring anything.

So, it is upto you. I mean, they won't get mad if you bring stuff.

are you out of state- or instate?

Here, you can also talk about interview prep, stats, acceptance/rejection.what u r anticipating. etc. This thread is not exclusive of notifications.

150 hours hospital volunteering
50 hours shadowing doctor
in-state

rejected

hey i got a request for an interview and i have a few questions :)

-how much is tuition? how much do we get in scholarships?
-are all med students placed in the west grace dorm?

by the way, i know last year 45 students got acceptance letters. plus, i dont expect all 60 people to show up to the interviews? so i bet a little more than 75 percent get in from the interview pool.

thanks!

You are in state, right? Tuition is a bargain for you.

You can stay in whatever dorm that you apply, but honor students have an option to stay at west grace "single room" dorm.
