Does anyone know when I can expect to hear back? Applied in late November before the Priority Scholarship deadline.
My son applied on 11/16 and hasn’t heard anything either.
My son applied on 10-14 and received a letter that looked like an ad (glossy, large envelope with graphics, name in clear window) on November 16. The letter was initially cast into the stalker school pile so he didn’t notice it at first.
Uh oh. We’ve received several of those. Hope he didn’t throw them away. Thanks!

@OspreyCV22 did you son’s VCU page update to show admission? We cannot find the glossy ad we received last week.
My son emailed the school since we were concerned we tossed the apparent ad. Here’s their response:
Thanks for contacting the Office of Admissions. We have received all materials to complete your application package. Once a decision has been made you’ll be notified in writing, via US mail. Students who have applied and submitted all materials to complete their package by our Jan. 15 deadline are guaranteed to hear from us by April 1. Since we offer rolling admission, it is possible to hear from us before April. Please feel free to contact us should you have additional questions.
My daughter submitted her application mid November, she received her acceptance in the mail last Friday, Dec.11th
I just recieved my acceptance today for VCUarts-Theatre! I submitted my application Nov. 15th and had my interview for scenic design on December 4th.
What type of mail did you receive with your decision @Techtheatrewiz and @mamag2855 ? Thank you in advance.
A large 14 x 11 envelope with the wording: VCU|VCUarts. It was extra large because it came with a VCUarts booklet. Otherwise, all of the other paper was 8.5" x 11"
We received the same large VCU/VCUArts envelope with Arts booklet and an 8.5x11 single page congratulations letter also.
@mamag2855 by any chance, are you doing theatre, and if so, were you there on the 12/4 audition date?
Daughter is majoring in fashion design and merchandising
