Where I can take this test?

Hi @Mercsabr – you take the online test online :slight_smile: so the location is at a computer near you. :slight_smile: Cannot login to take the test until tomorrow, though.

@OrangeFish thanks for replying to me

Does it easy to get a single room at VCU ?

Not sure about that, @Mercsabr – my guess is it would depend on the specific dorm/hall.

Housing opens on April 3 at 4 PM. https://housing.vcu.edu/application/

What is the math placement test you both are referring to?

@fairfaxgator - there is info about the math placement test (and other placement tests, dependent upon major) on the New Student Orientation section of the VCU website:

@orangefish
Hi I got accepted like 1 month ago and I get my acceptance letter too and it doesn’t not mention anything about scholarship .
Does anyone know when do I figure out If I got one or not?

@Mercsabr – this is what I heard from VCU admissions:

We are currently in the process of sending out scholarship awards. Some have been sent out and others are due to go out shortly. We expect to have the majority of our award notifications, which may come by post or email, out by the end of February.

why in the world would you want a single room as fresh? best thing is to bond with group of students . Try the Art Colony.

I have a question about the financial
Does the FAFSA pay every thing

@Mercsabr – for financial aid questions, I suggest contacting the financial aid office. Contact info is on this webpage: https://finaid.vcu.edu/contact/

@OrangeFish
I submit my deposit 02/08/2019 and until now I have not got an email from VCU to confirm they already have my deposit. What I should I need to do or What happening after I submit my deposit?

Good questions, @Mercsabr – my D has not financially committed to VCU (yet) so I have no idea what happens next after submitting the deposit.

I suggest following the checklist on the accepted students page:

https://www.vcu.edu/admissions/accepted-students/freshman-checklist/

Somewhere in that list is signing up for orientation, which opens up on March 23.

Good luck!

@OrangeFish
Hi
I still until now I have not got the merit-based scholarship from vcu.
But for each university I have been applied for it I got a merit-based scholarship.
Do I should call the VCU and If I call which department

Hi @Mercsabr – I suggest waiting until the end of this week. If you haven’t received anything by then, then I suggest contacting the financial aid office. (I’m waiting for notification, too, for my D19.)

@OrangeFish
Do you hear about the summer scholars VCU?

Hi @Mercsabr – no, I have not heard about the summer scholars. Did you get an invitation?

@OrangeFish
I just check with the financial aid office and they said fasfa will give me almost $13 thousand and the NEED is almost $14 thousand.
My question is how I can pay the difference if my family cannot offer it?

Do OOS get Presidential
