I'm thinking of applying for the VCU pre college program.
The main thing for me is its cheap and its rated in the top 10 design colleges

Has anybody been to it? How was your experience?

It’s suppose to be really good. I don’t have any personal experience with it, but my daughter’s looking at it too. As you said, the price is good and it’s at the #1 pubic art school, so both those factors are appealing. We visited VCU this summer and were very impressed with the campus. The “fan district” of Richmond has a lot of charm and VCU has a cool urban feel. The other two she’s looking at for summer are Skidmore College and MICA. She wants the college credit and not just a program. Hopefully someone can give you more personal insights on VCU’s pre-college. She did Corcoran last year by the way, and it was well done and affordable too.
