<p>Thoughts on the VCU film production program?</p>
<p>It’s not ranked within the top, but can’t seem to find where it falls in the rankings. VCU is #1 in all public art programs and #4 for all art schools. Here’s some info:</p>

<p>I just took my D on a visit to VCU and we both loved it. A lot of creative types and the fan district of Richmond surpassed my expectations. It’s a really nice urban school and the historical surroundings (brick sidewalks, historic mansions) just added to the vibe. I don’t know specifically about film program, but most of their art programs are well above any state run art schools. Ask this question on the film/visual arts majors threads though:</p>

<p>Also read the stickies lists at the top of these threads --I see that they have a list of the best schools for film!</p>
