<p>How are the vegetarian food choices at UChicago? This is somewhat of a concern for me...Can someone tell me? Thanks :)</p>
<p>Also, when do we find out which dorms/housing offers?</p>
<p>Vegetarian options are solid. BJ and Bartlett have great salad bars; I’m sure Pierce has a good one too, but I have only eaten in Pierce two or three times so I don’t remember it. Many students on campus are vegetarian/don’t eat certain kinds of meat, so the dining hall is used to accommodating to requests.</p>
<p>There’s a wonderful restaurant called Soul Vegetarian: [Soul</a> Vegetarian East - Greater Grand Crossing - Chicago, IL](<a href=“http://www.yelp.com/biz/soul-vegetarian-east-chicago]Soul”>http://www.yelp.com/biz/soul-vegetarian-east-chicago) that’s somewhat out of the way but has marvelous food. Good news is, though, that they prepare a lot of the food that can be found in coffee shops on campus and at Treasure Island.</p>
<p>I don’t think I found out about housing until August my year.</p>
