I (personally) don’t (entirely) see why anyone would be a vegetarian ONLY because they think eating meat is “gross.”

[this stems from my cousin. She is a “vegetarian” because “eating meat is gross” - BUT she eats fish? this makes no sense to me whatsoever?] -

It does, however, make a LOT of sense (to me) to be a vegetarian/vegan because of the disgusting conditions in which animals are kept, how they are killed, mass factory animal farming, etc etc etc. A lot of people are oblivious to this stuff, and it is truly revolting.
[Animal slaughter, abuse and cruelty. Behind the screens](http://www.animalsuffering.com/animal-cruelty.php)
This site can make you throw up. Easily.

I’ve been drinking protein shakes a lot lately and my little concoction is pretty good in my opinion. Skim Milk, 1 Banana, Chocolate Soy Milk, and 3 spoonfuls of Chocolate Whey Protein Powder will do the trick.

I don’t care if you’re a vegetarian just because it’s right to you. I do have a problem when you’re a vegetarian who thinks that being a vegetarian will solve all the problems that meat-eating causes, because it won’t. I also have a huge problem with vegetarians that feel and act elite for being a vegetarian.

I am a vegetarian. Two years… Maybe a bit more. I csn pitch the ideals here but everyone has to make their own choice haha. Good luck with yours.

Well… I can honestly say this is the worst and most pathetic conversation in a while… Simple point is, why are you a vegetarian? I shake my head every time I see this. Humans have been around for… thousands of years? And we have been eating meat for… thousands of years?

You may say cruelty to animals, but by not eating, your not actually changing anything. whatsoever. period. If you actually wanted to continue these ambitions, you would go on some pro-animal rally.

Oh,. did someone say health benefits? If you want to lose some weight, or actually be healthy, go work at a camp somewhere, do some actual work. Some good ole physical labor. Also, people who are vegetarians cannot give blood because their blood has lower than usual hemoglobin because of lack of iron. Meat being unhealthy!!! Well… if you eat that processed crap, maybe, but c’mon, its 30,000 years later and nothing changed to much. I would be scared of eating plants because of the pesticides used on them.

Be a human, eat some meat
I’m not trying to persuade you guys, just venting for myself on some people’s stupidity.

You’re a sick person, lol. That’s not people food.

What kind of flawed logic are you employing? Just because it won’t solve anything doesn’t mean you shouldn’t refuse it. It’s as legitimate a reason as any.

I eat meat because I care about animals. The way I see it, people don’t eat pandas and polar bears, and they are endangered. On the other hand, because people eat chickens and cows, there are lots of them. If it wasn’t for us meat eaters, there would be much less animals in the world.

agreed. Not a big fan of bambi though… venison is too gamey for me. I do love veal though. And have you ever had bison? That is the ****! All and all, my favorite red meat is probably lamb and my favorite poultry is duck.

And whenever I order steak, i like it as rare as possible, like its almost bleeding. I guess thats why I like sushi so much!

i only get medium well on burgers, for health reasons. Honestly, if it were healthy and safe. I would eat steaks almost raw (except they’d have to be warmed). As for venison… just not really my cup of tea.

You’re scared? SUCCESS! Finally somebody is scared of me unless I’m super mad then just get out of my way. Get on, I’m gonna whoop yo a$$. lolololol
