hey everyone my name is kevin, I live in venezuela however I want to study in the state. So i was wondering like what are my chances to get into a college like nyu polytechnic.

I have a gpa of 3.6.

I have been taking 4 years of math, 2 years of chemistry and physics. however high school here venezuela dures around 5 years which is different from the states. We dont count junior high or high school we just count it like a whole. So if we count from the high school years which starts in nine grade or freshmen year I would have taken 2 years of chemistry, physics, math, biology, history, spanish literature, and many other courses. Despite of this, the schools here in venezuela are not like the states one we dont have clubs, or lots of teams to join and get a better curriculum, nonetheless

I have been able to make a lot of EC like the following ones:

-Played the Piano for more than 4 years.
-I have been learning French and chinese for more than 4 years.
-I have played tennis for about 4 years and voleyball for about 2 years. I use to be in the swimming clubb for about 3 years.
-I am in a AP class but is a Ap spanish literature class.
this are my EC from school, but outside the school I make a lot more.
-I have an aquarium, reading and gardening hobbie. however I am not really sure if they count like ECs.
-I have been volunteering for the community around 120hours or even more.
-I have participated on many other competitions from the school like the math olympics (a national competition of math) i have other awards like diplomas from french exams ( not normal french test, test that are like the toefl but instead of seeing your lvl of english they see your level in french. I got a B+ on this test, and the diploma of the exam is recognized in all the european community)

Despite of all this things I can speak 4 languages (spanish, french, english and chinese (mandarin and cantonese) I dont know if this can make a difference, but I wroted this on my application essay explaining it. Tho the topic of my essay is not about my give to speak this languages, the main topic of my essay is about been asian, been born in the states, and grewing up in Venezuela and the good things that living in Venezuela have bring to me, like making me a multicultural person.

I took the sat for the first time, i didnt get a really good score since it was my first time taking it, and i only had 3 or 4 months to get prepared i got a score of 1190 :S im not proud of the score, but its what i got. 400 math 400 reading and 390 on the writting section, the main reason why I got this score is because the english is not my first language, so i couldnt understand some of the problems.

Soo here I am. Can you guys tell me what you think about this? do I have any chances? would they have any consideration with my sat score?? Can my Gpa, and Ec change the value of my sat score?

I want to apply for this fall, does it makes a difference if my brother studies in this university?
I am rushing in all this things of the application because i didnt know all the steps to get into college in the states since its different here in Venezuela.

I am waiting for some answers, and thanks a lot for the help ( sorry if I might sound a little bit rude, but i cant express my self as i do normally in spanish) and thanks a LOT and Happy Christmas!!!! and happy new YeaR!!!!!!!!!!! :D
