you should have just created an individual thread for boasting.

Lol I don't know how much respect I would give to the developers of rock band considering they basically copied everything off guitar hero. There isn't much development needed if you use the same "DDR" type gameplay format, same band effect as guitar hero. If rock band came out before Guitar Hero, then I would be giving them far more props.

My vent is that I haven't been back to Spain in 2 years and won't be going for at least one more year, but only if I study abroad there or nearby. I should have gone last summer...shoulda woulda coulda oh well. HLS, you will HAVE to show pictures to me when we move into the I House.

Second vent: Trying to make myself organize everything in my apartment for my move and basically all I managed to get done today was to jam my paper shredder really bad. It took about 2 hours to pick all of the paper pieces out of it. On the plus side, I decided to take a break and spent an hour or so reading at City Lights Bookstore.

well i don't have a set budget for the trip...but i plan on not paying for most of my lodging (friend & family in London, friends friend in the Netherlands, couchsurfing.com for Spain....If i need to i'll stay in a hostel). I have pretty decent savings from serving/bartending at applebees, so I should be fine.

@thatgirltoo: glad to hear you got a spot at ihouse, i think i remember you saying you turned in your app pretty late. that's good to hear!

continued vent: i'm scheduled to work till one the night before my two finals and till 2:30 the night before I leave for Europe....and tonight. 8 am class is kicking my ass, but it's the last week.

HLS: You'll make it through the week, and hey, with such a little amount of sleep, you are sure to be able to sleep on the plane.

Vent three: I learned today that the doubles at the I House come with ONE closet and ONE dresser for TWO people. Uhoh... Hope my roomie doesn't bring too much stuff. ;)

I asked how big it is, but haven't yet received an answer. I have a feeling it is small. It would be in the I House's best interest to let us know the dimensions so that all of us don't show up with 2 large suitcases of clothes. Also, we won't know who our roomies are until we show up, so no chance for us to say "I'll bring the TV, you bring the {whatever}," although the I House told me not to bring a microwave or tea kettle because the rooms are really small. Doesn't sound like there will be room for a TV. I'm going to leave mine in storage anyway, I'm tired of watching TV.

I'm going to vent that I need to meet with a counselor so he/she can see my ap scores so I can sign up for classes, but all the counselors seem to have gone on vacation and the ones who have remained keep canceling on me.

And all the classes I want to take in the fall are scheduled at the same time!! Arrgh!

Yea, I heard that about the roommate situation, too. Though, I don't care how small my room is, as I plan on using it as a sleep and storage room, really. As long as my expensive raw denim fits inside the closet I'm content.

Counselor said reg date cannot be changed, if I don't get in Math 49B next quarter, I'm screwed. Yay for reg date being 11 days after reg starting

vent1: after 18 hours of a flight including a 3 hour stop at shanghai and the little amount of sleep i got, i am now dealing with jetlag. i just slept from 1pm to 12 pm and unfortunately no one woke me up. now it's 2 am and i am wide awake

vent2: still deciding between a transfer route or attending cal poly pomona, thinking about trying poly out for a quarter, then if i still want i can go back to community college and still be under 60 units to transfer out. been doing stuff for both schools, and now registration is coming up and i still have questions to ask before finalizing my schedule

vent3: mysoju.com is not loading meteor garden

^ i'm undeclared, but interested in philosophy, sociology, something of the sort, as of now. who knows, i will probably switch majors once or twice - that's why it is so hard to pick schools

the uc system sounds a lot harder after reading the 1st semester experiences thread. i don't want to hinder myself just by going to a csu
