This is a thread where we vent our frustration at the SAT. I feel really bad about my score. I thought for sure I would do at least a little better, but no. :(
I got a 720 CR, 680 M, and 610 W. I hate the writing! Damn writing section! Why did they ever had to add it!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH! I'm so mad I have to retake in October!!!!!!!!! :( :( :(

I think the math curve is a lot higher than the reading or writing curve. I seemed to do equally well on each, but my math score was 50 points lower. Nonetheless, I'm pleased, I just wish all those damn Asian math kids would focus on English and neglect math for a couple of years.

im pretty sure i misbubbled in writing

hahaha... i said something like that to the guy in charge of my SAT prep and he looks at me and says, ay my wife's asian

but i agree, i thought i was gonne get in the 700s for my math score but only got a 690... kinda ****ed but w/e

^ oh man, same here. I usually do well in math but I DROPPED to a 690... was expecting 750+... at most I thought I got 1-2 wrong, but 690?! ehh.

lol i got 2 690's in math... but this time i knew i made 3 stupid mistakes and got 730....

my writing was 590, but managed to get it to 720.... its probably the easiest section to improve

but my critical reading is a chained beast.... with handcuffs forged from titanium steel... it wont increase!!! 580 to 620 to 640... sigh... i will never get into a good college with it so low... i am contemplating to retake it a 4th time to see if i can raise it to 680+

I guess I'm retaking this thing. Again. I got a freaking 550 M and a pretty bad 630 W but at least I know I can improve that to a 700+ pretty easily. The Math just is... ugh!!!!!!!

I'm one of those damn Asians haha. Pretty shocking, I know, considering my pretty depressing math score. I'm pretty good in class so I'm hoping good grades will have everything balance out.

I'm an Asian who focused on English!! I read a TON as a kid and I still do lol and I never liked math (even though my father has a degree in engineering; the mathematical ability gene never passed on, obviously). I didn't neglect math for a couple years -- I decided to forget its existence altogether. We do exist, we're just few and far inb/n =)

It's disappointment, btw. Sorry, I'm a big freak about grammar and spelling; I will literally bounce and shake in my seat and eventually blurt the mistake out or may literally implode since I'm kind of nuts XD

I'm ****ed. I spent months solely on CR... and i get a 690.

2260 is good.... 690 blows.

Weird...seems a lot of people are disappointed with math scores...I got a 680 (first time), but I think it's really odd because I thought I did pretty well on that section. Math is generally my best subject...I got a 5 on AP Calc as a sophomore. But I guess that's different. Oh well.

I'm actually pretty happy with my math score. Didn't expect it to be so high. I consistently score below 600 but this time I practiced. I'm asian but I did better on the CR (but not good enough), so asians aren't always better at math. The writing totally sucks like I mentioned.

im not dissapointed with my score, just slightly annoyed that i might have to take the whole test again just to improve math. but most likely ill just screw it, and keep my score as it is now.

I'm very disappointed...On my PSAT, I got around a 2000. I got an 1880 on the SAT, and there is no doubt in my mind it was due to our proctor, who thought it best to go off his watch, since it had a second hand, whereas the clock on the wall did not, therefore ending each section between 8 and 10 minutes prior to the clock reaching the time the section was supposed to end. He didn't even tell us until someone complained after the third or fourth section. He just didn't deem it necessary, I guess, which makes absolutely no sense. Eight to ten minutes is a big gap, and I did not finish several sections due to this. I'm very angry right now.

ditto, mcz. I'm decent at the actual content of the test but poor at managing time. If I only brought a clock, or had my proctor stated the remaining time more than once (which he did when we had 5 min remaining, argh), I'm sure I would have score higher than a 2190. Especially on the essay, I literally ran out of time so I couldn't even finish the sentence of my second to last paragraph)...I wish I was a proctor; Then I'd take my revenge..Muahaha...ok my 2 minute rant is officially over.

it seems to me that everyone so far has been disappointed at their scores
i got a 720 Writing in Jan, but now i got a freakin 630!!!!!!!!!
how in the world does that happen
i took a online real SAT practice test on the collegeboard online course 2 days before the test and got a 2100 and now i ended up with a 1960?????
btw i got a 2010 on my january test
i am very eager to get the test back from the student answer service to see how in the world i f-ed up so badly

for the unreleased exams the student answer sheet only shows if you got the correct answer or not... no choices or correct answers available.

all i can say is im confused. Im more of a math student than an english student, yet i got a 790 CR and a 650 on the Maths...im stumped

dang, I only got 2380
should I retake?

lol go away, leave the poor under 2200 people alone boohoo

ARFGGGGGGGGGGGG! I am so *ed I got a 213 on the PSAT. Deproved from sophomore year. If I *ing got just 1 more *ing quesiton right, I would have gotten to the next level, but *. And I am *ing *ed that I didn't do much ECs in high school and just played games all day long.

i thought you got a 2390 SAT haikaru ?
