<p>I received a letter from Cornell beginning "Congratulations Ventures Scholar!" I was never notified about being a Ventures Scholar before and I understand it's something similar to QuestBridge - for URMs and first-years to help pay for college and such.</p>
<p>Anyhow, would this be an "honor" to put on my Common App??</p>

<p>No, it is not similar to QB. No money attached to being a Ventures scholar, they provide information to students and it can get you on the radar of schools that participate.</p>
