Verb Tenses and Idioms

Verb Tenses

I suck at these. I hardly could list of the verbs of a given sentence... It's weird I understand prepositions subjective and objective pronouns, but don't understand verbs. Can someone help with this topic?

Idioms

Should I just study to the sparknotes list of idioms or are there better lists to memorize?

If you dont know what is the verb in a sentence …

^come on CR7_Man, these two types of questions ARE the most difficult. Give Isfii a hand instead of a slap.

Yes,idioms are hard. The only way to understand them is to learn them. There is a pretty comprehensive list in the Barron`s study guide (not sure if i should have used ‘‘in’’ or ‘‘on’’) … :D

and besides CR7, he said he has a problem with verb tenses, and you responded with something about verb identification.

OP, get some textbooks on English grammar and read the sections on verb tenses.

take another language lol i for one learned most of my verb tenses through latin and spanish. The english grammar taught in the US in public schools is terrible .
