<p>Hooray! It was simply that the FA lady at the college wrote down 90,000 instead of 9,000!!! Thanks goodness I caught that. Turns out it would have reduced my D’s Pell Grant by $2200, which would have been devastating to her. And thank goodness this is her last year of college. Of course S1 heads off next year, so let’s see if we get verified by that school too.</p>

<p>Just an FYI…my son got verified for all four years of undergrad. We completed the FAFSA for the Stafford loan ONLY. DS didn’t get a nickel of need based aid. We thought it was odd that they verified someone’s FAFSA who was not getting any need based aid…but we sent the “stuff” they requested in nonetheless.</p>
