I currently have one semester left until I have my BS. I have applied to grad school and am having to verify my Financial info with both schools. The school I currently attend asked me to send in a signed copy of my tax return and my W-2's. Not a problem. I sent my 1040A, the W-2's and my amended return. They were happy and all was well. The new school however is being a pain. They wanted a copy of my return. I called to ask them if they needed the original 1040A or just the amended return. He said just send the amended return. So I did. Then they asked for the original. I sent it. Then they wanted my W-2's. Sent. Then they had me fill out a 1040A like it would have been if I had done it right the first time. I was NOT happy about it but I sent it in. Now they want a copy of all the scheduals I filed. How much of this crap can they do? I am getting frustrated to the point where I am seriously thinking of attending a different school. Any comments?

They can ask for whatever they want. Yes, it is a pain to do this. But, if you are seriously interested in that institution, you have to follow through on it.
