Verification?

<p>Have any of you received a verification request from USC?</p>

<p>I'm curious whether USC sends them out or not because I got the request for activities to two of the colleges I applied to... </p>

<p>Also, if a college wants to verify something, do they have to contact me first? Or can they, let's say, directly call up my boss at work without my acknowledgement?</p>
