<p>What exactly does verification mean? I applied to William and Mary (OOS) and I had to fill out a William and Mary verification form and send in tax documents. I was waitlisted there. I am not upset about being waitlisted I am just curious.</p>
<p>When you file FAFSA @ 30% of applications are randomly selected for verification. You just supply the financial documents asked for and so long as everything agrees you are fine. We were verified this year also.</p>

<p>No - it is just related to financial aid applications.</p>
<p>We were just asked for verification documents at UNC. However, this will hold up finding out if we get an award since I suspect they are not releasing the info until they review the documentation.</p>
