<p>So, I'm going to be honest... I don't know much at all about Cal Grants. There's an estimated amount that I can receive from Cal Grant A on my UCSD and UCD portal, but after looking up how to receive the Cal Grants, I found out that I needed to verify my GPA. I didn't know this, does this mean I can't get it?</p>
<p>Ask the high school to send in the verification forms.</p>
<p>most high schools do it automatically. if it says on the Cal Grant website that they didn’t receive it, it is too late…sorry to say but March 2 was the deadline. Community college students get “second chance” deadline but I’m guessing you aren’t a community college student…</p>
<p>I found this out the hard way, I missed on a Cal Grant during my first year. Just reapply next year and make sure you turn in the FAFSAs and Verifications before march 2.</p>
