<p>How do the UC’s do this? Is this done on OOS applicants to? And do they ever verify academic info before admission notification?</p>
<p>I've heard that they very rarely request transcripts. However, they do have about 10% of the applicants verify community service, jobs, etc. They'll send you a letter in January asking for verification and it's totally random. I'd assume that applies for OOS as well.</p>

<p>Get people to sign off that you actually did the community service you did, have your supervisor sign off saying you actually worked there, etc. At least that's what I've heard happens. Maybe someone here who had to verify their activities could post.</p>

and what about school clubs? who signs that, the principal? (assuming if they have the yrbook)</p>
<p>I've heard they send them out in January so I'd imagine you'd have about a month to get it all in. Remember, I'm basing all of this off stuff I've heard so it might not be 100% correct.</p>
