VERSION 1-CR Discussion- Proessor and Caribbean/Creole Passage test

This is the thread for Veriosn one with the passages on Professor and a kid named Square Root, Creole/Caribbean Culture, Nepotism/

SC's

sanguine
nemesis
reduce
pernicious

PLEASE ADD for this version ONLY

other sc’s glut…and something ( it was a 2 blank one)
camoflage…criticism

please add!

one was loquacious…refractory i believe.

Sanguine is wrong

anyone remember what they put for the last Q on the nepotism 2 passages. like what was the difference between the 2 passages?

Wasn’t another question about the Nepotism passage about the tone of Author 2? Anyone remember that one?

Tone was emphatic and concerned

Okay, thank you, karatekid666! That’s what I narrowed it down to.

How does everyone feel about the CR and the curve? It seemed easier than usual…

I though sanguine was right.

I put fastidious for that questions though. >:(. The carribbean creole one was the hardest passage I think. The others were pretty good. Poor pluto :(

i got the loquacious one wrong…refractory is what steered me wrong. and i got fastidious wrong, was about to put sanguine. other than that pretty good.

is there a math thread for this version?

I chose confrontational for the tone…

the tone was definitely emphatic and concerned

sanguine is right - i forgot its other meaning (optimistic), and accidentally wrote solicitous instead…
re glut, i think it was glut/distinctive, though i might be mistaken

what was the sentence with glut? i dont remember having glut but i remember seeing distinctive and immediately knowing it was the answer.

@bph11 did u get one with house cleaning where you had to find the laundry?

_

I don’t remember a glut question. What was the Sentence about again?

I thought sanguine was wrong?

@ttttt what section? w,m, or cr?

Oop, didn’t realize it could also mean ‘confident’/‘optimistic’

@bhph11
Math (Sorry to the others for bringing the math section here. Not asking for the answer just determining to see if our reading section version had the same as the math one )
