Professor
- Dramatic hand gesture toward chest
- Professor and toast was to explain another characteristic
- Respect toward what he didnt know (I PUT LIMITED KNOWLEDGE INSTEAD)
- Analogy problem- It was like an artist who did not care about what other people think

Pluto
- Celestial objects YES!
2.What does deep mean? Fundamental (Not bottomless) YES! - Describe “issues” (i think that was the exact word) of reclassification YES!
- Complacency and apprehension ( i think this is wrong) i think this is ostentatious to humility (I THINK APPREHENSION WORKS BETTER. OSTENTATIOUS IS A BIG NO NO, THOUGH HUMILITY WORKS. THE PASSAGE EXPLICITLY MENTIONED THE WORD APPREHENSION)

I thought that the professor limited knowledge one was correct. I realized that respecting toward other things is the what the answer should be but, there was no answer choice that said that. That choice said that he believed that certain things were undervalued. This is not the same thing.

What was the answer for the “both passages have underlying assumptions that… blah blah” one?

@mvp Yea I agree with you. I put 450 for the answer

I still think the nepotism one should be “lament a common misconception” over “articulate a practical understanding”. Here is the passage on page 11: [In Praise of Nepotism: A History of Family Enterprise from King David to … - Adam Bellow - Google Books](<a href=“In Praise of Nepotism - Adam Bellow - Google Books”>In Praise of Nepotism - Adam Bellow - Google Books)

It states that “Most people” define the term “very narrowily” which indicates that they are in the wrong. The negative tone is not simply stating the commonly accepted definiton, but rather, the author is upset by the public’s misuse of the word…

What was the answer for the “both passages have underlying assumptions that…” one?

@starktony I put qualify because the passage was giving the qualifications of dwarf planet(?).

This is a bit odd to me guys, but was there a experimental reading section? I had these passages, but I can’t remember if I had an additional passage. I had a 25 min 25 question passage, 23 questions, and 19 questions passage if my memory serves me correctly. Did anyone else maybe have an additional reading section they remember? I almost feel as if I skipped an entire section, because I feel like I only had 3 of each section. I think I may have had an additional 24 question section. I’m not sure.

i had the 25, 23 19, too which I thought was weird since one passage only had one question and the short dual apssage had 5…

hey haphazard, can you help fill out our answers? PLEASE!

ALSO CAN SOMEONE FIND THE CARIBBEAN CREOLE passage please?

I’m pretty sure the word was infestation not invasion.

novel idea, sure! What was the experimental section for us, though?

Novel idea, I tried looking for the credo/Caribbean passage, but I can’t find it. I found 3 similar passages, but they differentiate in several ways from the passage on the test.

what did u guys get for a pluto passage question that asks why did author state the date blah blah. He speicified the date in which pluto was discovered (1930 I think) and asked why did he specify the date.

I put to emphasize… something something

I think I said to say how long it had been established or something. What did you put @1994hanuk?

There was a question about aberration. Also, @novelidea did you change your mind on the apprehension vs. humility question? haha

I think 5. on Nepotism talked about business not the economy but same idea.

oh no, I still think the humility answer is the correct one…I found the passage, or at least one that is almost identical and it seems the correct answer…

someone keep updating…

and I think Infestation was the second word!!!

anyone else trying to find the Caribbean passage??? Can someone remember a key phrase or sentence?

what was the sentence that talked about hawks and DECLINE was the answer?
we need only 4 more sentence completions!! think!

@justphysics

I too think I put to say how long it had been blah blah. does that correspond to “to emphasize” dkim96? or any other thoughts anyone?

can you give us a link to the moon passage?
i really want to read it again
