Very bad situation, help would be appreciated

I applied to four UCs this Fall: UCB, LA, Irvine, and SD. I applied to Asian American Studies for LA and Irvine, with no prerequisites completed so far. I noted on the application that I'm planning to take Asian American Sociology over the Spring and Japanese 1 over the Winter. I applied to SD as a Communcations major, and none of their prereqs are offered at my CCC (there are only 2 prereqs anyway.)

I applied to UCB as a Mass Comm major with the idea that I actually stood a chance with a 3.4. So I put on my application that I would be completing all the prereqs by the end of the spring since I only completed one so far. During this fall, I got 3 As and one D in my Precalculus class. It was totally unexpected and I found out about the D grade a day before my winter session stated. So for the winter session, I dropped Japanese and a prereq for UCB and decided to retake Precalc instead. With that being said, how badly have my chances fallen because of a D in the crucial Fall semester? Do I still stand a chance at LA, SD, or Irvine? My GPA dropped from 3.48 to 3.3. I pretty much gave up on UCB...

I also need to complete the foreign language requirement for IGETC, and plan on taking Japanese 1 during the Spring and Japanese 2 in the summer.

ok.. for UCB,UCLA,SD your IGETC must be done by spring... but UCI they allow.
since you got a D in ur pre-calc class it should look bad but just do better on the winter course and update ur grade as soon as possible..
i think you will get in to Irvine! but there is pre-reqs?
