It's probably a glitch in their systems. But you should call to make sure. I am sure you were admitted, but their systems probably got wonky and didn't send out your official acceptance package. Congratulations!

Yep, I got the letter today, and it has instructions on how to register for the orientation.

This is so strange... I can't even tell my friends that I had been accepted. I really want to call them and ask, but their office is closed until Monday. So frustrating...

And If I applied to Marshall, I can only get into Marshall, right?

(750/750/660 SAT, 34 ACT, 10% GPA, and interesting ec's)

See, stressed0ut, his stats are extremely high and he is now hearing back from them. They don't give out acceptances in any methodical order, except if they are scholarship people. Plus, they prefer ACT and a 34 is very high.

Well, not necessarily average people. Like I said, average people have been hearing back from USC as early as February. There is no order as to who will receive what when, it's just whenever they make a decision. I'm still kinda skeptical, however, on people who have been rejected already. I am not saying that I distrust anybody who has posted that thus far, but out of 21000 rejections, only a few have been posted that we know about? It seems rather unlikely. I don't know, that's just me.

I received the Orientation Postcard about two weeks after the official letter. Maybe, it's a goof-up as far as the reverse order of things go. But, it's probably a good idea to call them on Monday and speak to them.

I called today and asked, and the guy said the packet was sent out two weeks ago. I never got it, so it was very weird receiving the information about the orientation.

Into my first choice major--Marshall/Undecided (Accounting)!

Oooh. Sounds like I might be able to bluff an answer out of an admissions counselor now. How's this, "Hey, I am sort of confused. I received an orientation invite but haven't received an official decision from USC yet. Have I been accepted or is this simply a computer error?"
Haha. (Sinister laughter)
