ok guys, here's the deal. okay i have already completed 12 units at a community college. i joined the national guard about 1 year ago and came back from training and bla bla bla no need to go to war because my unit is non deployable. okay so here is the question. I have a GED and 12 units at a community college and will be completing another 13 units this fall. should i apply to the state college i want to attend with my GED, Take the SAT and apply as a freshman? but wouldn't my 25 units by the end of this fall semester will boost my standing up?(what i mean is as completed half a year of freshman year?) keep in my my school is all payed for through the military so don't need to give me advice on cost and how to save money from going to a community because it doesn't matter i already get 100% financial aid and along with 100% tuition pay for towards state colleges. The other one is should i just stay in community college and finish up 60 units then transfer as a freshman? i don't get what is the point if i can apply now with a GED and take the SAT, or is there more stuff behind it that i don't see. please help me out. thank you

You cannot apply as a freshman, either now or in the future. You have too many community college credits to do so. (And no, you cannot "hide" it, particularly since the federal government is paying your tuition and knows where and when you've gone to school.)

If you apply now, you may be able to transfer as a sophomore. If you apply after getting 60 credits, you'd transfer in as a junior.

Which one is "better" is something only you can decide. Do you want the three years of a "full college experience", or would you be happy with two?

Good luck to you, whatever you decide, and thank you for your service.
