I dont undrerstand. My dad says he wont pay for my education unless I have a major that ‘prepares’ me for a job. So basically what’s going on here is i’m really confused-most of the UC’s dont have business majors, (i wanna go into business) and stanford and harvard both dont have business majors. So if you cant get business majors there and business looks good on your transcript for grad school, what the hell do you do if you wanna go to biz school and you’re going to stan.? Someone help me out here. Does a business admin BS or a business econ BA really look good on your transcript for biz school???

you can major in absolutely anything that you want and still get into business school. However, if you really enjoy business you should probably major in economics, statistics, or applied math.

If you can get into Stanford or Harvard, go and major in absolutely anything for a great chance at a top business school.

I disagree. Going to an undergraduate school that is one of the best in the nation would be better than majoring in anything at Stanford or Harvard.

Some of the best business schools in the country can be found at Penn, NYU, University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, University of Wisconsin - Madison, MIT, Carnegie Mellon, University of Texas - Austin, and UC Berkeley.
