VERY crucial question about transfers?

I’m a high school senior and UT Austin is my dream school. However, I do not think I have the grades or scores to get in. I’ve decided that transferring would be my only option if I don’t get in.

I want to enroll in another college in Austin, St. Edwards or Austin Community College, then transfer as early as I can. Is it easier to transfer to UT from St. Edwards or ACC? I’m not sure if ACC makes it easier to transfer there because it’s probably easier to get a higher GPA from there and the school is basically made for people to transfer to UT. St. Edward’s is another option for me because I can get in and if I am never able to transfer at least I have a decent degree.

Please no hateful comments, I just really want to get to go to my dream school. Any tips on transferring from either of those schools or advice on what I should do is greatly appreciated.

I would recomment ACC. St. Edwards will rack you up a huge bill. Make sure you keep your GPA above a 3.7.

ok but what if tuition price isn’t really a factor?

bump

You should ask this question on the UT Austin board. There are specific paths available for moving from a community college to UT. I think you would have better transfer chances if you are coming from a community college rather than St. Edward’s.
