<p>Usually no, but there have been cases of public colleges sending decisions a bit early. Check the college's admissions website; it should state their policy about EA decisions. Be glad you have the application done. ;)</p>
<p>i don't think that turning in an application early affects the reply date at all, since as far as i know, colleges start the application review all at once when the deadline has passed as opposed to admitting/rejecting as each app comes in.</p>

<p>unless you got sent a "priority application" for U of Portland. They'll tell you in 2 weeks. That's insane. But I'm not applying there, lol</p>
